The penalty for violation of this chapter shall be a fine of up to $300. Each day of the violation shall be a separate violation subject to an additional penalty. In addition, costs incurred by the borough to provide notice, safekeeping and for disposal of a derelict or abandoned vessel may be recoverable as restitution in connection with a conviction for a violation of the section.
