10.15.100 Fire hazards.
(a) Flammable Liquids. No person on the air terminal shall use a flammable or volatile liquid for the purpose of cleaning an aircraft, engine, propeller, appliance or any object on the air terminal unless the cleaning is conducted in the open air or in a ventilated room which is specifically set aside for that purpose and equipped with adequate and readily accessible fire-extinguishing apparatus.
(b) Open-Flame Operation. No person on the air terminal shall conduct any open-flame operation without having requested and received permission to do so from the airport manager.
(c) Storage. No person on the air terminal shall store any flammable liquid, pyrotechnic or explosive at the air terminal except with the prior approval of the airport manager, and stored in proper containers in an area designated by the airport manager.
(d) Fire Apparatus. All tenants or lessees of space at the air terminal shall supply, at their own cost, and maintain sufficient and adequate approved fire extinguishers within ready reach of personnel in their areas.
(e) Air Terminal and Equipment. No person on the air terminal shall interfere with, tamper with, or injure any part of the air terminal or any equipment appertaining thereto. [Ord. No. 300, §1, 5-1-78. Code 1974 §15.12.050.]
