10.05.040 Parking or tying down aircraft – Violation – Impoundment of aircraft – Redemption fees.
The borough airport manager may impound any aircraft parked or tied down upon either the general aviation apron, the float plane area, the terminal area, or at the Murphy’s Seaplane Facility, when the fees set forth in Chapter 10.10 KGBC have not been duly paid, and such aircraft shall not be released from impoundment until such fees have been duly paid in full and until an impoundment fee of $50 shall have been paid in full. Any person who removes the aircraft from where it has been impounded by the borough without having first duly paid the applicable parking and tie-down fees and the impoundment fee is guilty of a violation and shall be punished as hereinafter provided. Any person who has failed to pay the applicable parking or tie-down fees, resists or interferes with the borough director of transportation services or his designated representative while impounding or attempting to impound said aircraft shall be guilty of a violation and shall be punished as hereinafter provided.
